Terms of service
For donors
Gifts are made to the organization running the event, charged on that organization’s own Stripe account. Fayd charges a 1.5% platform fee, shown before you pay, which you can choose to cover. Refunds are at the organization’s discretion. You must be 18 or older to give.
For organizations
- You are the charity and the merchant of record, responsible for your charitable registrations, tax receipts content, and compliance with solicitation laws.
- Payouts, disputes and refunds are handled on your Stripe account. Fayd never holds your funds.
- Plans are billed monthly by participants per calendar month: Starter up to 1,000, Growth up to 5,000, Scale up to 20,000. Live events are never stopped mid-event for exceeding a plan.
- Prohibited uses include fraudulent or deceptive causes, sanctioned parties, and anything that violates Stripe’s terms.
Transparency
When you close out an event, Fayd publishes a transparency report with totals and fees but no donor personal data.
